Loans ₹5 Lakh to ₹10 Lakh (Tarun) and up to ₹20 Lakh (Tarun Plus for repeat borrowers).

Overview & Objectives

PMMY Tarun offers credit facilities from ₹5 Lakh to ₹10 Lakh. Following the Department of Financial Services notification w.e.f. 24 October 2024, the "Tarun Plus" category extends limits up to ₹20 Lakh for entrepreneurs who have previously availed and successfully repaid Tarun loans.

Financial Benefit Structure

₹5 Lakh – ₹20 Lakh
Tarun: ₹5L–₹10L | Tarun Plus: ₹10L–₹20L (for past repaid Tarun borrowers). Rates set by lending bank.

Eligibility Criteria

Established micro/small enterprises. For Tarun Plus (₹10L–₹20L): must have successfully repaid previous Tarun loans with clean track record.

Required Documents Checklist

  • KYC of Promoters / Partners / Directors
  • Udyam Registration Certificate & GST returns
  • Audited Financial Statements / ITR for past 2–3 years
  • Bank Statements (12 months)
  • Detailed Project Report (DPR) / Quotations for machinery
  • Previous Tarun loan repayment closure certificate (for Tarun Plus)
