Overview & Objectives

Comprehensive central sector scheme supporting traditional artisans and craftspeople across 18 notified trades. Provides recognized PM Vishwakarma Certificate & ID, 5–7 days basic skill training with ₹500/day stipend, ₹15,000 e-voucher for modern toolkits, and collateral-free enterprise credit up to ₹3 Lakh in two tranches (Tranche 1: ₹1L @ 18 mos; Tranche 2: ₹2L @ 30 mos) at a concessional interest rate of 5% (with 8% GoI subvention).

Concessional 5% fixed interest rate (Government provides 8% subvention to MLIs) + ₹15,000 toolkit grant

Eligibility Criteria

Artisans engaged in 18 specified trades (carpenter, blacksmith, goldsmith, potter, sculptor, cobbler, tailor, mason, boat builder, etc.). Minimum age 18 years. One member per family.
